Virgin holidays up for grabs

VIRGIN HOLIDAYS is in the process of shortlisting design consultancies for its £3.5m media and creative account.

VIRGIN HOLIDAYS is in the process of shortlisting candidates for a media and creative consultancy vacancy. The winning group will take over a £3.5m account.

“We have selected a shortlist of design companies,” confirms a Virgin Holidays spokeswoman, who declines to name any of the consultancies that are pitching for the job.

Brighton consultancy Eventer Design Group, which created the launch identity for Virgin Holidays’ European package holiday brand, Virgin Sun, last year and has designed Virgin Territory’s brochures for eight years, is not involved in the pitch.

Eventer managing director, David Ward-Streeter says that the consultancy is still working for the holiday group: “The ongoing below-the-line work we carry out for Virgin Holidays is not part of the pitch,” he says.
