Philip Sutton is celebrating more than 50 years of painting with a personal exhibition entitled A Celebration of Colour, a collaboration with his daughter and a family friend, which is on show from 31 May until 5 June.

Ballpoint, until 25 June, presents a selection of work by creatives including Alan Fletcher, Jonathan Ellery, Ryan Denton and Jeff Fisher and is set out to amuse, amaze and prove that the pen can indeed be mightier than the sword.

Until 2 July, Shaping Light showcases studio and architectural glass, including a selection of recent architectural projects and large-scale installations as well as smaller scale studio pieces.

Venue: Workplace Art, Tea Building, 56 Shoreditch High Street, London E1.

New City Architecture is an initiative of the Lord Mayor of the City of London and explores contemporary architecture in the capital. The exhibition runs until 2 July and gives visitors a chance to preview London’s future skyline as it will be transformed by the emerging cluster of tall buildings.

A survey exhibition presenting work by Scottish artist Nathan Coley, including sculpture, photography, drawing, video and installation, shows until 18 July.
