Rodney Fitch & Co MD quits

Rodney Fitch & Co managing director Chris Jenkins has resigned from the group and is expected to leave within a week.

How and when Jenkins will be replaced has not yet been confirmed. However, consultancy chairman and founder Rodney Fitch promises a number of senior appointments in the next three weeks to help reshape the retail design group.

“Chris handed in his notice about three months ago and he leaves in the next few days. In the meantime, I have made various appointments,” says Fitch. He will announce the identity of new staff members when the jobs have been officially accepted, he says.

It is unclear exactly where Jenkins is moving to. “I am staying in the industry although I am not able to say where I am going,” says Jenkins.

“He is going to join a group which designs and builds commercial interiors – which is the work he used to do before joining this consultancy,” adds Fitch.
