It started as a ‘team building exercise’ and ended as the ‘England drinking competition’, according to Open Agency director Mike Horseman, who led a consultancy day out to Bournemouth. The plan was to ‘take one or two briefs to exercise the old grey cells and develop team spirit within the agency’, explains Horseman. But he admits misinterpreting his own plan using some ‘good old designer lateral thinking’ and ‘brought my own briefs and drank all the team spirits’.
