A point to ponder on the cost of pitching for a job

Regarding the article announcing the pitch for the Warwick Conferences identity pitch (DW 16 August), I had no idea there was such a fantastic, professional group of branding consultancies going after this type of business.

If the story is accurate, the cost for all of us to pitch for this business would have been well in excess of the client budget. Think about that Mr Client.
