Our business is about long-term relationships. It’s about developing a mutual understanding between client and consultancy. The best way to achieve this is by spending time together away from a meeting room. This month, we have collaborated with our consultancy partners to open Kin, a ‘pop-up shop’ in London’s Kingly Court showcasing the work of young artists. A programme of events will give us a chance to spend time with clients, while giving them the chance to view the artists’ work.

In a word, referrals, and especially from our arts clients. The London Women’s Clinic, Maggie’s Centres and some of our highest-profile wins have resulted from someone admiring our work at an event. But as the Christmas party season gets into full swing, don’t forget to get your neighbours in for a glass or three. Amazingly, most of our longest-standing property and finance clients can be traced back to the chap I lived next door to when we started out 24 years ago. Cheers.
