A visual concept is worth a thousand words, but…

I am publishing a book on copywriting in conjunction with Laurence King Publications, to help designers and design students create compelling copy to complement their design concepts.

We are now looking for the very best examples of copy in design from around the English-speaking world, especially the UK and US, and I am looking for help from Design Week readers. If anyone can put forward suggestions I would love to hear from them.

The book will cover most categories including catalogues, magazines, products, retailing, digital, brand, advertising and marketing.

Good examples include Innocent and Pret A Manger, who both use light, innovative and fun copy to great effect.

I also hope to interview up to 20 copywriters (10 in the UK and 10 in the US) to gain insights into their processes and techniques.

Please send your ideas and thoughts to me at mark.shaw@jupiterdesign.co.uk. Full credit will be given. Thanks.
