Brody’s Fuse back-catalogue to be republished
Neville Brody’s experimental type publication Fuse is celebrating its twentieth edition with a retrospective tome combining all the issues going back to its first in 1991.
Often touted as an influential force, Fuse has been a playground for typographic opinion formers including Erik Spiekerman, Stefan Sagmeister, Peter Saville, Jonathan Barnbrook and Tobias Frere-Jones.
Editorial contributions include those by Adrian Shaughnessy and Jon Wozencroft.
Each of the twenty editions are themed and formed around fonts and posters by commissioned contributors, all of which are in the 416 page compendium.
It will include Fuse 19 and Fuse 20 which haven’t yet been published, as well as ten A2 posters from these issues and 24 downloadable fonts activated by a keycard with code.
The now out-of-print issues 1-18 are included, bundled up in a book and presentation case, designed by Brody.
Fuse 1-20 by Neville Brody and Jon Wozencroft will be published by Taschen at the end of March, priced £34.99
Superb!
I remember having his two books at college. In the pre David Carson days. How it all moves on and then comes back round.
