A is For…?
Another week, another exhibition for prolific curator and illustrator Mr Gresty, who this week launches his A is for…? show.
The exhibition is part of his ongoing LHR series, which stands for The Lauriston, The Hanbury and The Regent – the names of the three pubs across north and east London that will host an on-going series of group exhibitions organised by Gresty.
The series opened with Whisper , and last week saw the opening of his Spectrum show, which saw creatives tasked with making a piece relating to a specific colour.
The latest show, A is for…?, works on the same principle – with each artists given one letter of the alphabet.
They could then use that as a starting point for their piece, with no other brief other than the letter they were given.
As ever with Gresty’s shows, the results are multifarious, with each piece taking a totally different approach to the next.
A is For…? runs from 29 November – January 2014 at The Hanbury, 33 Linton Stret, Islington, London N1. Find out more on the Facebook events page here
