Creative Process
This week sees the third installment of Liverpool’s Creative Process event, which looks to provide an afternoon of inspiration for creative types.
This year’s event features seven speakers, including Facebook creative director Ji Lee, Aardman Animations senior designer Gavin Strange and Berg London creative director Denise Wilton.
Alongside his work at Aardman, Strange also designs under his JamFactory alias, fabricating vinyl toys and creating the Boikzmoind documentary about riding fixie bikes in Bristol.
Lee, lover of ‘bicycling, animals, jazz, hot sauce and fun puns’ according to the event organisers, will be joining the event from New York to chat about his working process and elaborate on projects he’s worked on.
This year’s event looks to have more of a tech-focus that Creative Process’ previous incarnations, with speakers such as web designer Anthony Casey and Sparkle managing director and visual effects director Glenn Maguire.
Edinburgh-based illustrator The Boy Fitzhammond will also be sharing his wisdom.
