Ballantine’s Artist series, by Dave Ma

Music video director and photographer Dave Ma has created a limited edition series of packaging for Ballantine’s.

Ma is also known for his unique perspectives on aerial landscape’s, which he manipulates to look otherworldly and altered.

He’s taken this approach to the Ballantine’s Finest sleeve and tin by using a bold two-tone colour palette and photographs of the Scottish Highlands. Meanwhile the 12-year-old product is set in a rich blue.

Ma says: “My focus was to capture the natural beauty of the terrain, but I wanted to move the images away from the all-too-familiar green landscapes of the Scottish Highlands and give each gift pack its own distinctive look, which reflected the personalities of each of the blends.”
