Interior design company Bert & May is probably best known for its encaustic tiles, but it also designs a range of other interior pieces. Working with Ciarán O’Brien, Lucas Che Tizard and Lionel Real de Azúa of Red Deer Architects, Bert & May has designed a new hot box for summer.
The fire pit weighs 85 kilos and is made to function as an outdoor BBQ. It’s available in five of the company’s tile pattern designs, which are designed to complement Bert & May’s selection of reclaimed tiles from Europe.
Among the styles available is the company’s cubist “Duchamp” pattern in grey, blue and green, as well as the more subtle Majadas.
