ECE Architecture has teamed up with designer Creative Forager to create a 1,000m2 typographic mural on a brutalist, multistorey car park in Worthing, UK.
The reimagined car park has been spray-painted in an array of bright colours by street artist Ricky Also, who went through roughly 600 cans of spray paint in seven days to complete the mural.
The candy-striped design is inspired by iconography related to the seaside, such as deckchairs and ice-creams.
The mural also spells out “right now” – an anagram for Worthing, as well as a comment on the regeneration currently going on in the area.
