The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art’s chief designer, Marie d’Origny, has designed a new edition of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Little Mermaid, featuring illustrations by Yayoi Kusama.

Most of the black and white illustrations are from Kusama’s Love Forever series, drawn between 2004 and 2007, but she has also produced several new pictures for the edition.

Specially selected paper types have also been sourced in collaboration with paper supplier, Antalis.
