Saudi Design Week will return for its third year next month, featuring more than 100 exhibitors, installations and talks encompassing the theme of “illumination through design”.

Highlights include an exhibition looking at how to design for social welfare, featuring an all-in-one coat, tent and sleeping bag developed by students at the Royal College of Art in response to Syria’s humanitarian crisis.

The festival will take place from 6-9 October at the Al-Faisaliah at Durrat Al-Riyadh Resort in Riyadh’s Banban district.
