Siglion identity, by Studio Blackburn

Studio Blackburn has created the identity for Siglion, a new development company made up of a partnership between Sunderland City Council, Igloo regeneration and Carillion.

The consultancy says: “Siglion is made up of a number of experts from across the UK who have come together to reshape Sunderland’s future.

“Our design work focused on making a brand that didn’t overclaim, try too hard to be sexy or cool, or shout too hard about itself, the outcome was a look and feel that is workmanlike but beautiful: an image of open honesty that does just what it says on the tin – celebrating Sunderland.”
