The Graphic Lexicon, by Sutherl&Bard

Jim Sutherland of Studio Sutherl& has worked with writer Scott Perry (the Bard of Bray) on new book The Graphic Lexicon.

The pair have come together to form publisher Sutherl&Bard to release the book, which is a celebration of the stories – facts and folklore – behind English words, symbols and punctuation.

The book looks at words have been constructed, how syllables come together to create new meanings, and how the meanings themselves morph as the world moves on.
