The Victoria & Albert Museum in London has unveiled an installation by Indian artist Subodh Gupta called When Soak becomes Spill.
The work, created for the V&A as part of its India Festival, features a stainless steel bucket standing 6m high and overflowing with hundreds of pots, pans, containers and cooking implements.
Utensils like these are used by millions of Indian families to eat their meals, and were part of the artist’s childhood.
The work has been unveiled on Exhibition Road outside the museum.
