World Para Athletics Championships and IAAF World Championships branding, by SomeOne

SomeOne has created the visual identity for the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) World Championships and World Para Athletics Championships, which are taking place at London’s Olympic Stadium this summer.

The identity builds on the existing colour palette seen in the championships’ logos, which includes pink, purple, orange and yellow.

SomeOne has increased the brightness of the colours, and has used imagery of athletes in action with trails of colour surrounding them.

The visual identity has now rolled out across all touchpoints.

The World Para Athletics Championships runs from 14-23 July and IAAF World Championships runs from 4-13 August 2017.
