The musician who I think would bring the strongest creative direction to branding projects (Voxpop, DW 4 March) is British singer-songwriter and record producer Damon Albarn. A strong and passionate artist, he is a master of reinvention and thrives on challenging himself creatively.
Comfortable with working across a multitude of genres, from Britpop to alternative hip-hop and western, he would be able to transfer his fluid approach to music to any creative design project. Not one to compromise, he’d stand by what he believed in and be determined to see any project through from start to finish.
He is a collaborator and team player, as demonstrated by his work (pictured above) with Jamie Hewlett. Unpredictable, inspirational and exciting, he’d never disappoint.
