Helvetica 60th anniversary poster project, by various designers

Husmee Studio has worked with paper company Arjowiggins to bring together different designers to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Helvetica.

The Spain-based studio has organised a project asking various design studios to create a poster devoted to the typeface.

Sans-serif typeface Helvetica was developed by Max Miedinger and Eduard Hoffmann in Switzerland in 1957.

Twenty designers and studios have submitted posters, all of which will be displayed in an online gallery that launches on 16 June.

The poster display is sure to be the first of many celebrations to mark the landmark typeface’s 60th birthday.
