Nulty rebrand, by Underscore

Underscore has created the brand identity for lighting design consultancy Nulty, with the aim of showing how the company has grown since being founded four years ago.

Previously called Paul Nulty Lighting Design, Underscore simplified the name to Nulty and added a “plus” symbol, to emphasise the company’s growth.

The consultancy has also created a second brand mark called the “Gestalt N”, which is made up of two pluses creating an “N” shape out of negative space.

Underscore says the new visual identity is based around the idea of “more than meets the eye”.
