Record Label in a Box, by Davison Williams
Davison Williams has designed a physical version of a record label.
The consultancy was commissioned by music distribution company Ditto Music to create Record Label in a Box, which aims to provide artists with “tangible” proof of owning their own label.
A sound waves graphic has been used on the outer packaging, and the interior contains a personalised certificate replicating a record vinyl in a sleeve.
Behind that, there are hard copy contract templates which aim to “assist artists in running their businesses”, the consultancy says, and a two-in-one branded USB and pen.
Paul Williams, founder of Davison Williams, says: “We really wanted the opening of the box to be an experience in itself.”
