Designer furniture company Vitra has turned a two-storey building in Shoreditch, London, into an office and lounge space, as part of London Design Festival.

The space aims to be an area where people can “exchange ideas on how workspaces are evolving into the future”, says Vitra.

The ground floor of the pop-up office includes the Hack desk and Allstar chairs, designed by Konstantin Grcic. The basement lounge level aims to be a “cosy, home-like setting” with pieces such as the Soft Modular sofa, Cork stools and Rise tables by Jasper Morrison, and the Twill fabric upholstered lounge chair, by Eames Office LLC.

The space also encourages people to relax or work with free wifi, a small library and complementary tea and coffee.

The pop-up is based at 4 Holywell Lane, London EC2A 3ET, and is open 19-23 September from 10am-6pm daily.
